Lanner falcons attain up to 145kms per hour in pursuit of its prey and are extremely difficult to photograph. This pic taken when the Lanner caught a quelea in the Kgalagadi transfrontier park in South Africa with a Nikon Z9 and 500 mm PF lens with a shutter speed of 1/8000 to freeze the action. Had a lovely time in Madikwe under Christo's expert guidance. His knowledge on photography and the bush is great. We had awesome sightings and in general the atmosphere between everybody was great. Our accommodation was brilliant.

Good photographic oppertunities due to off road driving and tracking by guide/4x4driver at Madikwe. Christo tries to have the vehicle positioned ideally for wildlife photography and gives feedback about camera settings ext. The group was a great pleasure to spend time with.

I have just returned from a photographic workshop with Christo Giliomee from Outdoor Gallery in Madikwe.

I was blown away with the amazing sightings and stunning images I was able to capture with his expert guidance. Christo always positioned us for the best possible lighting to create images with mood and emotion. I learnt so much from him on this workshop.

The accommodation was very comfortable and the food delicious.

I would highly recommend Christo and his Outdoor Gallery Photography tours.
