Itinerary:
Day 1 – Rooiputs lodge (1 night)
Situated atop a vegetated red sand dune, Rooiputs Lodge, is located about 25 km north of Two Rivers along the Nossob River Valley. Extensive panoramic views of an acacia savannah valley and grassy plains surround the camp. Lions frequently visit the nearby waterhole.
Day 2 to 4 – Polentswa lodge (3 nights)
Polentswa is situated 222 km from Two Rivers in the predator-rich Nossob Valley, on the Botswana side of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. The camp is nestled among tall trees and dwarf shrubs, overlooking the Polentswa Pan and its waterhole, which attracts an array of exciting wildlife.
Day 5 to 7 Rooiputs lodge (3 nights)
2 more nights to enjoy at Rooiputs Lodge, Exclusive game drives and sundowners are offered in a private concession area, though the main game is found along the Nossob valley.

Situated atop a vegetated red sand dune, Rooiputs Lodge, is located about 25 km north of Two Rivers along the Nossob River Valley. Extensive panoramic views of an acacia savannah valley and grassy plains surround the camp. Lions frequently visit the nearby waterhole.
The accommodation includes nine chalets, one family unit, and one luxury desert suite/honeymoon suite, all with thatched roofs. Each chalet features a wooden deck, constructed with a mix of wood, thatch, canvas, and glass. Inside, there is a sleeping area with double or twin beds, a sitting area, and an en-suite bathroom with double basins, a toilet, an outside shower, and a large veranda for privacy. The desert suite/honeymoon suite also has an outdoor bath with views of the savannah and grassy plain with a waterhole.
To ensure comfort in both summer and winter, the thatched roofs provide insulation. The large, thatched veranda outside the bedroom catches the cooling Kgalagadi breeze. Fans are available for hot nights, and hot water bottles are provided for cold winter nights. Gas heaters are available in the main building during winter.
The main building has a spacious lounge, a bar, a dining room, and a reading area, all furnished with rich ethnic textures of Southern Africa and the desert.
Nights 2 to 4 – Polentswa lodge (3nights)
Polentswa is situated 222 km from Two Rivers in the predator-rich Nossob Valley, on the Botswana side of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. The camp is nestled among tall trees and dwarf shrubs, overlooking the Polentswa Pan and its waterhole, which attracts an array of exciting wildlife.
Polentswa offers classic tented accommodations evoking a nostalgic era, with a veranda providing private views of the Kgalagadi sky. The camp includes six safari tents, a family unit, and a luxury desert suite/honeymoon suite, all on raised wooden platforms with large canvas roofs. Tents feature a large bed, views of the Polentswa pan, an en-suite bathroom, and an outside shower open to the desert and stars. The family unit and luxury suite have additional sitting areas.
The main building features a lounge with views of the vegetated pen, a viewing deck with a telescope, a bar, dining room, boma, and reading area, all reflecting the spirit of a tented safari camp. Exclusive game drives with sundowners are available in a private concession area, with most game found along the Nossob valley.

October is one of the best months for photography in the Kgalagadi, but extremely hot and there is no AC. It is currently very dry and you can expect lots of animals around the water holes in October. Please note, there is only room for 6 persons. Contact us to check availability.
