• The Goliath Heron is majestic bird that inhabits the wetland and waterways of sub-Saharan Africa. It is the largest Heron in the world, reaching an impressive height of up to 152cm snd a wingspan of up to 185cm ! Despite its massive size, the Goliath Heron is a surprisingly graceful flier reconnecting us with the tranquility of nature.

  • White-fronted bee-eaters are usually found on river banks along watercourses foraging on flying insects, especially honeybees. Native to sub-Saharan Africa and highly sociable, they can be seen in large colonies and often bundled together in cold mornings.  Painted with a tapestry of colours, these colourful birds are a pleasure to photograph.
