Piper Pan is located in the northeastern part of Botswana. A hidden gem in the heart of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Piper Pan offers an untouched wilderness that feels like stepping back in time. The vast open plains stretch as far as the eye can see, creating dramatic landscapes bathed in golden light—a photographer’s dream.
What makes Piper Pan truly special is the incredible wildlife that frequents the area, including prides of lions, cheetahs, and large herds of springbok and oryx. The contrast between the dry, rugged terrain and the bursts of life that thrive here make for captivating, once-in-a-lifetime shots.
Getting to Piper Pan requires a 4×4 vehicle and a sense of adventure, as it’s located in a remote area of the park. But trust me, it’s an experience you won’t soon forget!
