The Central Kalahari Game Reserve, a destination renowned for its award-winning sunsets and captivating sunrises, making it a paradise for avid photographers.

The expansive Central Kalahari Game Reserve spanning an impressive 52,800 sq. km, (larger than The Netherlands!) is the largest and most remote reserve in Southern Africa. Located in central Botswana, it is part of the Kalahari Basin, the world’s largest continuous stretch of sand, stretching from the Orange River up to Zaire and ranks as the world’s second-largest wildlife sanctuary.

This expansive terrain comes to life during and shortly after abundant summer rains, with its flat grasslands in the north bustling with wildlife, including herds of springbok, gemsbok, wildebeest, hartebeest, eland, and majestic giraffes, cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs and don’t forget Kalahari’s Black Maned Lions. Dirt tracks lead south through remote landscapes to the Piper’s Pan region.
